Why don’t we just try?

We think only our god is real

And our country is the best

We believe our ideas

And try to convince the rest.

But if this takes so much trouble,

Why don’t we just try respect?

We crave what we don’t have

And what we have, we don’t share

When Envy gets into us

It makes our lives hard to bear.

If greed gives us so much pain,

Why don’t we just try being fair?

We spend billions building weapons

While polluting lands and sees

Causing suffering to people

Paying to Death high fees

But if war is such a waste,

Why don’t we just try Peace?
